Cold cathode X-ray carbon nano X-ray tube
Pureron's cold cathode X-ray tube uses an electron source made of carbon nano, manufactured using Pureron's unique CVD film deposition method (patented). This X-ray tube does not require heating of the electron source. This makes it possible to keep power consumption low (it is easy to manage because no X-rays are emitted when the power is turned off).
It can also take pictures instantly and can be used with a power source comparable to that of a dry cell battery.
Due to the advantages of miniaturization and weight reduction, various applications can be considered, such as non-destructive inspection, which requires portability, and baggage inspection at Shinkansen and airports.
Cold cathode X-ray carbon nano X-ray tube
-
- No filament power required
-
Since heating of the electron source is not required during use, power consumption is low.
-
- No waiting time
-
Irradiation is possible immediately by applying anode to the cold cathode.
-
- Continuous irradiation possible
-
Continuous irradiation with pulsed X-rays is easily possible, making it suitable for video shooting. *Limited to compatible detectors.
-
- No subfocus occurs
-
Images are clearer because there are no secondary focal points.
-
- high output
-
Due to its small size and high output, the device itself can be made smaller and lighter.
-
- power saving
-
It can be used with a power source comparable to a dry cell battery.
-
- Carbon nanostructure cold cathode electron source
